Short story from the Garden: Two years ago our competition attempted to wipe us out with a bogus consumer complaint. That complaint has now been dismissed with zero–yes, ZERO–payment to the plaintiff. We couldn’t be happier and it is time to celebrate! Pass it to the left, pass it to the right–smoke it, vape it, or dab it–we don’t care…just take a moment and puff one for the RG team!

For those interested, here are some highlights you can share:

–The plaintiff claimed that he (and supposedly an entire class of California consumers) were misled and paid too much for the Refined Live Resin because it was not Live Resin.

–Over the course of the litigation, RG was able to show that the plaintiff was unable to prove his case or get others to join or support the case (zero additional plaintiffs).

–Per the judge’s request, RG was able to provide multiple third-party experts that validated the Refined Live Resin process.

–The plaintiff was unable to provide a single expert testimony to support their claim. Not a single expert would testify on their behalf.

–The plaintiff could not establish any factual support for his claims, and did not produce any evidence proving that he had even purchased RG’s Refined Live Resin product.

–As a result, the plaintiff voluntarily moved the court to dismiss the class action case and the order of dismissal was entered on May 3, 2022.

–Plaintiff received zero compensation or settlement from RG in exchange for the dismissal.

The RG team pressed for a different vape pen, and the result was a distinct oil made from Live Resin; which we aptly named Refined Live Resin. While we paid the price to defend this ingenuity, we still love innovating and intend to bring more Cannabis products to market that change consumer expectations.
